SUMMER PROGRAMS

We continue to work out the details on some of these programs, so the information below is subject to change.

There will be NO summer feeding, S.P.A.R.K., or summer school on Wednesday, June 19; Thursday, July 4 or Friday, July 5
 
  • Academic Programs (Summer School for students entering 10th through 12th grades)
    • For students who are seeking Credit Recovery courses and for students who want to accelerate learning with first-time credit. The cost for Credit Recovery is $50. First-time credit courses are free.
    • Classes are two sessions:
    • Session 1: May 28 through June 21, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
    • Session 2: June 24 through July 19, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
    • Students must attend three hours per week on site at Sapulpa High School room 402.
    • The deadline to register is Tuesday, May 21 at 3:00 p.m. Please fill out the registration form and use the Buy Now button below to pay for Credit Recovery courses. No classes June 19, July 4 or July 5.


  • Academic Programs (Junior High) - Students will be identified and contacted to participate. 
  • Academic Programs (Middle School) - Students will be identified and contacted to participate.

  • Book and Snack Mobile - The Book and Snack Mobile is a converted school bus that has been gutted and replaced with shelves containing books, a refrigerator to hold cold water, and cabinets to stock snacks all in an effort to keep children reading and fed throughout the summer months. It will travel around the community to select locations in June and July. Click here for the complete schedule.
  • Camp Invention - Camp Invention is offered to students entering Kindergarten through 6th grades who have an interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). The program is full for June 17-20. Please contact Valerie Buck at [email protected] for more information.
  • Driver's Education (enrollment now open) 
    •  Students must be 15 before starting the course
    • Cost: $250
    • Enrollment forms are available at Ms. Lawson's desk in the SHS Attendance Office.
    • Classes are 3 sessions:
    • Session 1: May/June - Classroom session: scheduled for Tuesday-Friday, May 28th-May 31st , 8:00am-4:00 pm. Driving session: Saturday-Saturday, June 3rd-June 8th, 8:00am-5:00pm. Students will be divided into 3 or 4 for driving classes for the driving course.  Hours may vary.
    • Session 2: June - Classroom session: scheduled for Monday-Thursday, June 10th-June 13th, 8:00-4:00 pm. Driving session: Friday-Thursday, June 14th-June 20th, 8:00am-5:00pm. Students will be divided into 3 or 4 for driving classes for the driving course.
    • Session 3: JulyClassroom session: scheduled for Monday-Thursday, July 8th-July 11th, 8:00-4:00 pm. Driving session: Friday-Friday, July 12th-July 19th, 8:00am-5:00pm. Students will be divided into 3 or 4 for driving classes for the driving course.
    • The class will be held in Room 420 at the high school. Please bring a pencil and paper with you. An Oklahoma Driver’s Manual is recommended. You can obtain one of these at the Department of Public Safety offices for $7.50 or you can go online at OK.gov to download and print a copy for free. You will be notified only if you do not get in the class requested. Your receipt is your only notification that you are in the class. Please keep this front page for your information and return the 2nd page with payment made to Sapulpa High School.   • English Learners - The English Learner Summer Camp for grades Pre-K through 5th grade. This academy is based on whether your child receives EL services throughout the school year. If your child has been selected for this program, you will receive an enrollment form. 
  • Extended School Year - Extended School Year is a program for special education students who currently attend Sapulpa Public Schools and are recommended by the IEP team for ESY school services. Please contact Katherine Stufflebeam at [email protected] for more information.
  • School Zone - School Zone is a two-day camp offered to incoming 6th grade students to Sapulpa Middle School. It will be held in August. For more information contact Amy Warner at [email protected].
  • SPARK - Summer Spark will be offered during the summer of 2024. Spark will be open for students in PK through 5th grades at Holmes Park Elementary May 29 through July 19. The hours of operation will be 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Spark will not be available on June 19, July 4 or July 5.
  • Summer Feeding Program - Summer meals will be provided free of charge Monday through Friday. Children age 18 and under are welcome to join both meal services.  Click here for menus.
    Summer Meal Service will happen at 3 different locations with Holmes Park Elementary being the main hub. Meals must be consumed on-site.

  • Summer Splash Reading Academy - Summer Splash Reading Academy is for grades kindergarten through 3rd grade. This academy is based on teacher recommendation. If your child has been selected for this program, you will receive an enrollment form by the end of May.
