Distance Learning

During the course of the 2020-21 school year, Distance Learning could impact an individual student, a group of students, a classroom, a school, or perhaps the entire district. Unlike last year, Distance Learning will be much different from the experience in the spring of 2020.

Changes to Distance Learning include the expectation of new learning for students, attendance, daily course work, and grades can be impacted both positively and negatively.

If we must transition to Distance Learning we will alert you as soon as possible. If you haven't received an email, phone call, or text message from us recently, please contact your student's school and ask to update your information.

Please review our Distance Learning 2020-21 Guide. Read the Guide in Spanish.

The Distance Learning plan will be used for intermittent or long-term closures due to health or weather-related circumstances.

Sapulpa Public Schools uses two learning management systems (LMS) for students who attend school in the traditional in-person setting.

Seesaw - This is the LMS for students in PK through 2nd grades.
[email protected] - This is the LMS for students in 3rd through 12th grades.

Parents - Using your PowerSchool username and password, you can login to the [email protected] Parent Portal to view assignments and track your student's progress. Sign in to the [email protected] Parent Portal here.

If you are experiencing technical difficulties with a Chromebook, please call the Tech Help Desk at 918-216-5000.

Digital Security

Sapulpa Public Schools has partnered with Lightspeed Systems on an online student safety solution to help track Internet usage by our students on their school-issued laptops. Lightspeed will issue a report once a week that breaks down each student’s activity on their Chromebook - search queries, blocked websites, top websites, and what time of day the child was on the Internet. You may read more about Lightspeed here.

We also use Bark for Schools. When possible dangers arise on school-issued accounts, Bark for Schools sends us alerts so we can address the situation in a timely manner. These alerts also give us insights that help us promote the wellness of the entire student body. You may read more about Bark for Schools here.
