Spanish Club marks Hispanic Heritage Month

(SPS) -- By Jon Boyne, Sapulpa HS Spanish Club Advisor -- On Monday, September 25, a group of 24 students from Sapulpa High School and Junior High Spanish Club went to see the Hispanic Flamenco Ballet’s presentation of “Latin Iberian Show” and “The Arts & Dance Experience."
Students were able to see traditional dances from Mexico, South America, Spain, and the Caribbean as well as participate interactively and on stage with traditional songs and dances from these countries. Following the performances, the group enjoyed lunch at Lopez Grill Mexican Restaurant in Sapulpa.
National Hispanic Heritage Month is September 15 through October 15.
