Student-athletes give back to Sapulpa community

Student-athletes give back to Sapulpa community(SPS) -- Chieftain Athletics held its fourth annual ChieftainStrong Community Service Day Thursday, benefiting women in need throughout the Sapulpa community and beyond.

Approximately 120 student-athletes gathered in Sapulpa High School gym to help assemble more than 3,600 make-up kits on behalf of our community partner, SeneGence and the Make Sense Foundation. The kits will be distributed to women in need, women's service organizations, and non-profits. 

The annual Community Service Day is 
part of Chieftain Athletics' community and leadership development program, helping shape students Core Values: character, humility, commitment, integrity, service, self-control, teamwork, responsibility, mental toughness and honor.
