Assistant Superintendent Johnny Bilby played through with his brother, son and father(SPS) -- The 29th annual golf tournament benefiting the Sapulpa Public School Foundation brought out more than 20 teams to enjoy a round of golf and support our schools and teachers.

Team and player fees, in addition to dozens of sponsors, help fund the Grants-to-Teachers program to create and advance innovative teaching projects at Sapulpa Public Schools.

Sponsors included American Heritage Bank, Standard Distributing, Oak Properties, Bennett Steel Inc., SeneGence International, Lot Maintenance, Duncan & Sons, Sen. James Leewright, Jim & Lois Korn, Tulsa Sapulpa Union Railway, Kiwanis Club of Sapulpa, Jane & Dub Enlow, and more.

Crown Bristow will award one lucky participant a new car for a hole in one!

To date, the Foundation has awarded more than $470,000 in grants to teaching projects designed to promote academic excellence and student enthusiasm.

Grant recipients will be announced at a later date.
