Every April, parents are asked to complete ONLINE STUDENT VERIFICATION prior to August 1st verifying that that their student(s) is returning to SPS the following/next school year. The Verification is required for students to pick up their class assignment and/or class schedule prior to starting the new school year.

The purpose of the Verification is for parents to update their contact and student information in the SPS school database system (Power School), allow for District planning for class sizes and staffing, implement communications (via School Messenger) with parents, and allow parents a tool to track their student(s) classwork, assignments and grades (Parent Portal).
