Food on tray

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has extended its free meals for kids programs through the 2021-22 school year.

What does this mean for Sapulpa Public Schools students?
  • All students, including full-time virtual students, regardless of economic status will receive free meals, breakfast and lunch.
  • In-person students will not need to show their ID or Pin card to receive the meal.
  • An additional meal or a la carte items will require payment.
  • We encourage families to complete the application for Free and Reduced-Price Meals, which can be done here. F/R applications are not required for participation in this particular program.
  • Free meals only apply to children. Adults are still required to pay.
How will virtual students be served?
  • Service will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 8 and done via grab-and-go.
  • Breakfast and lunch will be picked up between 11 and 11:30 a.m.
  • Meals will be ordered in advance using this form.
  • Families will pick up at elementary school closest to home. You may search your address on this map to find which elementary zone you live in.
  • A "pick-up" card will be required to pick up meals. The card will be provided by Child Nutrition on the first day you arrive to pick up your student's meals.
Why are we asking you to complete the Free and Reduced-Price Meals application?
The extension of the waivers that allows for the free meals goes through the first half of the school year, but if funding runs out, the program will end sooner than that. If you qualify for Free and Reduced-Price Meals, your benefits will begin as soon as the free meals program ends.
