(SPS) -- Friday night before kickoff against Glenpool at George F. Collins Stadium, Sapulpa High School and Sapulpa Athletics recognized the seniors of football, cheerleading, Ping Pings, cross country, JROTC, and Special Olympics. Members of the band and color guard were recognized at halftime.
In all, 84 seniors were celebrated for their achievements in athletics and activities. They were each escorted by parents or other family members and received a single rose.

Sapulpa went on to win the game 47-22 over Glenpool. The win secured the Chieftains a trip to the first round of 5A-4 playoffs against the McAlester Buffaloes in McAlester on Friday, November 12. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
