Donia Doudican named Director of Instructional Design for Sapulpa

Donia Doudican, Director of Instructional Design(SPS) - Congratulations, Donia Doudican!

Doudican accepted the position of Director of Instructional Design for Sapulpa Public Schools and began her new role on July 1.

The position became open following the retirement of Denise Jordan.

As Director of Instructional Design, Doudican will be responsible for overseeing all curriculum, digital and traditional. She will also be instrumental in professional development coordination for teachers and staff in the district.

She will work alongside the principals at our eight schools to create a plan to ensure students are set up for success in the classroom and prepare them for their next steps.

One of her areas of focus will be to work toward improving scores district-wide on state testing.

Doudican previously served as Digital Curriculum Project Manager in which she led the digital learning transformation partnership between Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and Sapulpa Public Schools. The contract with HMH is in year four of an 8-year deal and Doudican will continue with oversight of the project.

Doudican has been with Sapulpa Public Schools since 1986. During her 32 years, she has worked at Washington, Freedom, Junior High and High schools. She has taught 2nd grade, 5th grade, and led the Gifted and Talented program.

Her new office is across the hall from her old office inside Washington Administrative Center.
