(SPS) - It's time to start dusting off your running shoes and get ready to run.
The second Run4Reid 5k color run and one-mile fun run is May 12 at 7 a.m. at Sapulpa Football Field.
The run is held in honor of Michael Reid.
Mr. Reid passed away January 3,
2017 when he was struck by a vehicle while jogging that morning.
He was an administrator at Sapulpa Public Schools for four years, but more importantly, he was a positive presence that made a difference in the lives of those he worked with and taught.
Proceeds from this race will benefit Sapulpa Middle School classrooms, where Mr. Reid was once principal.
