(SPS) -- The first steering committee meeting for Bond 2023 was held on Tuesday, October 10. A group of Sapulpa Public Schools administrators and Sapulpa High School and Junior High teachers met with architectural firms Reed Architecture and Interiors and DLR Group to discuss needs for a new high school campus. The group of 18 steering committee members was shown innovative campuses from across the country. Sapulpa Public Schools Educational Pathways program was carefully considered during the two-hour session. This was the first of several steering committee meetings in the schematic design process. Architects will combine feedback from the steering committee, as well as additional community input, to build a specific concept for the new high school. The next meeting will be held in November. Steering committee meetings are part of the schematic design process for a new high school.
