BOND 2023


(SPS) -- On Monday, July 10, 2023, during their regularly scheduled meeting, the Sapulpa Public Schools Board of Education voted unanimously to pass a resolution authorizing an historic bond election to be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

Proposition 1 calls for voters to decide on:
  • A new Sapulpa High School building on the existing site for 9th - 12th grade instruction including a performing arts center
  • Facility improvements for 8th grade instruction
  • A new indoor practice facility and baseball and softball fields at Westside Athletic Complex
  • New football locker rooms and office space at the existing Collins Stadium
  • Improvements at the existing Chieftain Center
  • Agriculture Education Farm Facility improvements
  • Equipment for HVAC and roofing as well as furniture and fixtures as needed
  • Technology
  • Athletic and band equipment and uniforms
  • Playground equipment and improvements
The total amount of Proposition 1 equals $276,750,000.
TOTAL INCLUDES PROJECT COSTS + FINANCING


Proposition 2 calls for voters to decide on:
  • Acquisition of transportation and auxiliary transportation equipment
The total amount of Proposition 2 equals $2,500,000.

August 28, 2023 Deadline to Request an Absentee Ballot
September 7-8, 2023 Early Voting
September 12, 2023 Election Day
