A Day at TEDxOU - Learning Ideas Worth Spreading

A Day at TEDxOU - Learning Ideas Worth Spreading
February 10, 2016

Seven Bartlett Academy students were fortunate to have visited the University of Oklahoma for TEDxOU 2016.  The group heard from numerous speakers, from a Zoology professor who is learning how bees use "Navigation by Deja vu" to a musician who retraced the steps of Will Rogers and composed songs at each stop along the way.  A capella group, The Crimson Chords performed two popular songs as the lineup of professionals and students shared ideas about how they plan to impact our world and visions of the future.  The students enjoyed a college lunch experience at the Oklahoma Memorial Student Union.  They were able to see 3-D printing, an Oculus Rift gaming headset system and other cutting edge interactive technologies in the Union Bookstore.  It was another great day at OU and students are looking forward to their next visit to a university.
