Rob Armstrong and Kenda Terrones(SPS) -- It wasn't the best news for most school districts in Oklahoma when the State Department of Education released its  midyear adjustments back in late December.

And that included Sapulpa Public Schools.

The midyear adjustment is based on several factors including increases or decreases in enrollment during the first nine weeks of the school year and changes in local tax revenues.

For SPS, the midyear adjustment was a decrease of $568,178 for the remainder of the school year.

Superintendent Rob Armstrong recently sat down with Sapulpa Times to discuss the shortfall.
