Prom dinner for Special Needs students

Special Needs students to experience prom in style
Posted on 04/05/2019
2018 prom(SPS) - If you hadn't noticed, it is prom season.

From finding the perfect dress to figuring out where to eat dinner, a high school prom can be stressful to prepare for but it’s an event just about every student looks forward to and will remember for the rest of his or her life.

That goes for our students, too, who celebrate prom April 6 at CityPlex Towers. And, one group of our student body will dine in style Saturday night.

Special Needs students will gather, with their families, at 6 p.m. for dinner at Sign of the Times here in Sapulpa before heading over to the party.

It will be the fourth year the students have eaten together. Ten students along with family members are expected at the dinner.

“It will be a wonderful evening that our kids will never forget,” said David Sizemore, Special Education teacher.

The evening wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of the companies and individuals who helped make the night memorable for our kids.

Thank you to these wonderful donors who gave their time and resources to make the night possible:
