Alumni Spotlight

Abby Hoover graduated from Sapulpa High School in 2013. During her time in the Alumni Spotlight she talked about winning a state championship, why she chose to attend SHS, and what makes the school such a great place.



Adam Tico Hernandez is a Sapulpa High School Class of 2000 alumnus. He tours the country as the lead guitarist and band manager for country music singer Lauren Alaina. During his time in the Alumni Spotlight he pointed to his time in jazz band in middle school for helping him pursue guitar.



Dae Williams graduated from Sapulpa High School in 2016. He had several options for high school and to play football. Dae chose SHS because he said he knew how special the school is. You can find Dae playing running back at the University of Louisville.



Oklahoma State House of Representative Mark Lawson graduated in 1999 and is in the Alumni Spotlight. Whether it was as Senior Class President, Student Council Historian, or as a member of the football team, his time at Sapulpa High School prepared him to be the best he could be.



“I’m the interrogator who, in 2003, tracked down Saddam Hussein and I’m a graduate of Sapulpa High School, Class of 1990.” Eric Maddox conducted more than 300 interrogations during a five-month period and on his final day in Iraq, he was able to get Saddam Hussein’s bodyguard to give up the dictator’s location leading to his capture that same night.
