Calip inducted into OGBCA Hall of Fame

Darlean Calip(SPS) - Basketball coach Darlean Calip has been inducted into the Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

Coach Calip was inducted June 1 during a ceremony at All Saints Catholic School in Norman. She was joined by fellow inductees Mark Hudson, Wade Daniel, Jay Wood, and Annette Kennedy.

Calip has 31 years of high school and collegiate coaching experience, with the last 20 as a head coach. She has a career record of 314-128 from her time leading programs here at Sapulpa as well as at Moore and Jenks.



Calip has three state championships, including winning the title in 2007 while leading the Lady Chieftains.

And, this isn’t the first hall of fame for Coach Calip. She’s also been inducted into the East Central University Hall of Fame.
