(SPS) - The school year can't come to end until you hold the Employee Year-End Assembly, and that's what happened Tuesday.
Employees, community members, and state representatives were recognized for their contributions to Sapulpa Public Schools during the 2017-18 school year.
The morning began with the Presentation of Colors by the Marine JROTC and was followed by Assistant Superintendent Johnny Bilby introducing the recipients of Appreciation Certificates.
AWARDS OF APPRECIATION
State Representatives Mark Lawson and Kyle Hilbert along with State Senator James Leewright were recognized for their support of SPS employees during the walkout in April.
Representatives from First Baptist Church, Caring Community Friends, Allen Church, and Salvation Army were thanked for opening their doors and providing a safe place for our school children during the walkout.
